Registration papers will either be given with the puppy or will be transferred to the buyer immediately upon their receipt for the Canadian Kennel Club, if they are still being processed. These papers can take up to six months from purchase date. Breeder will inform buyer if there is a delay and the reasons for delay of registration papers.
It is understood that at the time of sale this dog is not considered to be of show or breeding quality, but is representative of its breed and its structurally and temperamentally suited as a companion and/or obedience dog. Beginning obedience or puppy socialization training classes are highly recommended for any family dog to insure a happy relationship with the animal. This dog is guaranteed for 48 hours against any health or temperament irregularities, and it is recommended that the buyer have the puppy examined by a reputable veterinarian during this period. (NOTE: any puppy going to a new home may be a bit unsure of himself until he becomes completely familiar with his surroundings.)
No other guarantee is given except in the case of an hereditary defect which develops to the extent it renders the dog unsuitable as a pet. In this instance a replacement will be given when one becomes available.
The buyer agrees not to use this animal for breeding except by the express permission of the breeders at a later date. Neutering of the animal is recommended. Buyer agrees to sign a Non-Breeding Agreement for puppy purchased upon pick up date above. The Buyer also agrees that this animal cannot be sold or utilized by a Puppy Mill, nor can this dog be transferred or co-owned by a Puppy Mill.
